FBX format help.

I'm using FBX in some of my "projects", and while i'm using the ones included with Goblin (data/Models), everything works ok. I just load the model and it's textures into my project and thats it.

When i try to load downloaded FBX, i get only gray model, with no textures.

So, i have few questions.

1. Does FBX  contains textures at all?

2. Goblin FBXs have regular txt format. The ones i downloaded are binary files. Does that matter at all?

3. How to export FBX from Maya? Which settings to use, how to include textures, etc...?

Ok, i sorted this out.

I found Autodesk FBX converter tool and used it to convert FBX i downloaded from Turbosquid to FBX 2006 format, ASCII. Didnt try with binary yet...
