object position

How do i set the position of an object anywhere on screen.  For example I have a sphere which is overplayed on the marker.  When the marker is not being detected by the camera I want the sphere to still remain on the screen in the exact same position, how do I go about doing that? I thought changing the spherenode.translation but i do not know if that is how the co-ordinate system works.

If you mean "exact same position" to be where it's lost, then simply set MarkerNode.MaxDropouts to -1.
