Camera/Model positioning

I want to create an AR application, with the following features:

The user wears a pair of Vuzix VR920 (with the inertial tracker enabled) and there is a virtual hand+arm model that follows camera's rotation.

So far I have created a camera, I rotate the camera using the built in tracker (of the glasses) and the hand model does the same rotation around the camera..

The thing is, I want to add some marker tracking, so that the virtual hand can collide wuth a virtual model that sits on top of the marker and pick it up..

However when I add marker tracking things mess up.. and my hand jumbs around for no apparent reason..

Do you have any suggestion to make life easier?
