I get many emails asking for missing calib.xml file for projects that use ALVAR. If you run Tutorial 8 first, there is a README.pdf which explains how you should generate calib.xml using one of the project (SampleCamCalib) that comes with ALVAR distribution package.

Since different camera has different distortion, focal points, etc, it is best to calibrate your camera for best tracking result instead of us providing a default calib.xml.

i got errors at compiling it from C++ 2008

i was add the right additional directory and at the end, i found several error

Please ask VTT guys who are the developer of ALVAR for ALVAR related compiling issues.
